The British branch of Faro, the global designer and manufacturer of portable computerized measurement devices and related software used to create or evaluate digital models, has announced that great success resulted from its participation in late April’s MACH exhibition in Birmingham. The company presented its broad range of portable measuring machines for a wide range of applications and industries and took considerable satisfaction in selling five Faro Gages during the show.
David Homewood, Faro’s area vice president for the UK and France, is very pleased with the outcome.
“This MACH has been the most successful show ever for us,” he said in Birmingham. “Our position as market leader for portable 3D measuring equipment, together with an attractive booth, has drawn crowds of people to our stand and generated much interest in our solutions.”
Faro had focused its booth on the aerospace industry. Its entire product line was represented at MACH. The Faro Gage, Quantum and Fusion FaroArm, and Laser Line probe for noncontact measuring particularly generated a great deal of interest.
Andrew Tagg, regional manager for Faro UK, was especially happy that several units were sold during the exhibition. “We offered the Faro Gage and the Faro Gage-Plus at a very attractive price, and it certainly has paid off,” he reported with pride.
