Boride Engineered Abrasives has fabricated advanced composites incorporating proprietary fibre in order to create the CNB line of polishing stones for mould and die makers. CNB products represent coarse-fibre partners of the Ceramic Stone family of products designed for much the same use. Through extensive testing, the CNB-80 and CNB-120 stones have evolved into some of the thinnest, strongest, and most aggressive polishing products in the marketplace.
The CNB-80 and CNB-120 polishing stones can be used by hand or with short-stroke profilers such as the TLL-07 Turbo-Lap, and with or without lubricant. The cutting action occurs at the tip and side of the stone. At 1.2 mm thick, CNB products constitute an appropriate choice for roughing-in on ribs and slots. They come in widths of 4, 6, and 10 mm and in lengths of 75 mm (in all widths) and 150 mm (in the 10mm-wide size only).
Boride Engineered Abrasives has manufactured mould- and die-polishing stones, diamond compound, mounted points, industrial sharpening stones, and other specialty abrasive products for nearly 40 years. The company distributes its products in more than 30 countries worldwide.
