Newcast 2009 casting and forging show will include a Newpart innovation park for forged and sintered parts while logistics and and prefabrication have moved to the Newcast show.
After two very successful events, Germany’s Newcast show will be repeated in Dusseldorf, June 23-25, 2009 Messe Dusseldorf (Dusseldorf Fair) said that new features for Newcast 2009 will include a Newpart innovation park for forged and sintered parts.
The Metals Plaza will be a forum for the raw materials and metals trade.
Logistics and prefabrication have moved from METEC to Newcast.
Newcast will also show new casting methods using permanent sand moulding.
There will also be the Newcast Forum offering seminars and conferences.
Managing director of messe Dusseldorf, joachim Schaefer, said: "For the first time, Newcast will be showing forged and sintered parts next year (2009), parts with similarly important roles in this industry as traditional casting for finished and semi-finished processes.
These topics are given a platform with global relevance at Newcast".
