Kaliburn has announced the expansion of its Spirit product line to include 150a and 200a models. The new systems—one a 150-amp model, the other a 200-amp—are automated high-definition plasma cutting systems that incorporate a hafnium technology.

Hafnium Optimizing Technology—HfOT™—increases electrode life and improves cut quality and consistency, states the company.

Extensions of the company’s Spirit275a, the systems provide the same production within their current range, states the company. The 150a is designed to pierce and production steel up to ¾ in. thick, with a maximum capacity of 1.5 in. The 200a pierces and production cuts steel up to 1 in. thick, and has a 2-in. capacity.
