Peter Marton has joined Surfware Inc., the developer of SURFCAM® Velocity CAD/CAM systems, taking the position of sales managing director. Marton has an extensive background in CAD/CAM/CAE and manufacturing solutions. As president of Marton Consulting Inc., he provided sales, CNC programming, and postprocessing services to clients in the aerospace, medical, plastic moulding, forging, and consumer products industries.
During a 20-year career, Marton has worked with machine shops both small and large, selling software and managing technical solutions. In addition to his sales, programming, and design skills, he has hands-on experience as a mould designer and mould maker.

According to Diehl, Marton’s responsibilities will include looking for new opportunities in the areas of licensing and business partnerships and working with the firm’s domestic and international team of dealer resellers.
