23 November 2007 – Semi finished plastics market leader Quadrant EPP has appointed Switzerland’s Angst + Pfister as its first European-wide distributor. The key markets covered by the firm will be Germany, Austria, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Switzerland. The pan European appointment complements Quadrant’s existing distribution network and reflects the synergies available from working with a single distributor across multiple countries, the Swiss headquartered company says. According to Francois du Passage, Quadrant EPP’s commercial director, the agreement reflects the company’s international support for its customers as well its strategy of partnering with key distributors to provide the appropriate service. Angst + Pfister serves 75,000 customers, has operations in most European markets and operates a logistics centre at Embrach. The company supplies products in various categories including engineering plastics, anti vibration products, sealing, fluid handling and adhesives. “Our goal is to give customers an additional cutting edge and we believe the combination of Quadrant EPP’s superior product range and our local strength in technical support and service will provide a winning formula for customers,” said Levent Kosumdok, chief marketing officer at the distributor. The range of Quadrant EPP stock shapes handled by Angst + Pfister are used in a wide range of industries including electronics, transportation, chemical, pharmaceutical and the food industry.
