Novel processing technologies, equipment used for plastics processing, packaging systems, a wide range of plastics, and recycling methods are some of the attractions for visitors to Plastukraina 2008, the International Fair of Plastics Processing, which will open in Kiev on September 23 at the International Exhibition Centre.
This fair is the Ukrainian version of Plastpol, which is the largest exhibition dedicated to the plastics processing industry in Poland and Eastern Europe. Both events are organized by Targi Kiele (Kielce Trade Fairs), an exhibition company that, at its Polish facility, offers 30,000 m² of exhibition space in six halls and 100,000 m² of external exhibition area.
Matching the growth of the plastics processing industry, the range of the Plastukraina exhibition has been steadily expanding as new technologies and equipment are introduced each year. Plastukraina features exhibits representing all stages of plastics processing, through to recycling. Products and services on offer include machines and equipment, plastic components, recycling technologies, and relevant information technology systems. Companies specializing in plastic packaging systems also will have displays.
For eight years, Ukraine has enjoyed continuous economic growth, making the country an increasingly attractive market for entrepreneurs, especially those from abroad. This is the 5th edition of Plastukraina. In 2007, the fair attracted almost 100 exhibitors from eight countries.
Following tradition, and in order to link theory and practice, this international plastics processing trade event is accompanied by a variety of scientific conferences.
