ARRK Tooling Development Ltd. (TDL) has appointed Phil Mould as its new managing director. Mould joins ARRK Tooling after having served for many years as sales director for the rapid prototyping and tooling business of ARRK Product Development Group Ltd. ARRK Tooling provides specialist services in the design, development, manufacture, and sourcing of mould tools to customers in the plastics processing industry.
The name ARRK Tooling came into being midway through 2007 for the entity created by the merger of two leading tooling and moulding industry businesses, Jordan’s Toolmakers and SERMO UK. The company operates UK sites at Havant and Langrish and can access additional capability through ARRK’s facility in Teesside.
Joining Phil Mould’s management team are Russell Hammacott as head of sales and Colin Rawson as general manager for both Havant and Langrish. Barry Crawte continues to oversee the company’s financial affairs as its financial controller.
Commenting on his promotion, Mould expressed delighted about joining ARRK TDL. “The combined resources, skill, and capability within our own UK centres, as well as those through ARRK’s global facilities, provide our clients a wealth of additional tooling and moulding solutions through a single supplier,” he said.
“Over the coming months we will be launching our new company identity and website, and speaking to as many clients as possible,” Mould continued. “The PDM show in Telford in April provides an excellent opportunity for us to talk to people about our new setup and for them to discover more about how they can access ARRK’s global capability through their local ARRK TDL specialist.”
