Formulated to produce long-lasting repairs to fiberglass molds, RAPID PATCH repair paste can be feathered out after curing for less than 20 minutes at 75ºF. It chemically bonds to damaged mold sections, and offers sag resistance even when applied to vertical surfaces. Based on methylmethacrylate (MMA) chemistry, fast-curing paste can also be used for filling plastic, steel, and aluminum substrates that require patching.
Prairie Technology Introduces RAPID PATCH Mold Repair Paste at IBEX 2007
MIAMI, October 10, 2007 – An easy-to-apply, fast-curing paste formulated to produce long-lasting repairs to fiberglass molds was introduced today by Prairie Technology Group, Inc., Hutto, Texas, at IBEX 2007, Booth #2548. New RAPID PATCH repair paste, which is based on methylmethacrylate(MMA) chemistry, can be feathered out after curing for less than 20 minutes at 75ºF. It may not require an additional application of tooling gel finish before use. Because RAPID PATCH paste chemically bonds to damaged mold sections, it produces longer lasting repairs than conventional putty products.
In addition to its excellent repair capabilities, RAPID PATCH paste has an easy-to- handle viscosity that offers good sag resistance even when applied to vertical surfaces. The new product is packaged in convenient 50ml dual-barrel cartridges that reduce labor, eliminate waste and ensure the precision control of resin-to-hardener mix ratios which is critical to optimizing adhesion.
RAPID PATCH paste can also be used for filling plastic, steel and aluminum substrates that require patching.
