JetCAM International has signed Delcam-Ural, based in Yekaterinburg, Russia, as a new reseller for its sheet metal and aerospace CAD/CAM software in the Russian market. Delcam-Ural has 15 years of experience in the CAD/CAM field, and offers CAD/CAM solutions for manufacturing to companies in the Ural Mountains region of Russia.
“JetCAM completes our product range for CNC machines,” says Vladimir Vlasov, technical director of Delcam-Ural. “Now we can extend our market to the sheet metal and aerospace industries where we can find new customers, and also offer solutions for sheet metal cutting to our existing customers.”
Mike Weber, managing director for JetCAM International, explains that the appointment of Delcam-Ural as a distributor will enable his company to concentrate more on the Russian market and on meeting its particular needs. “With the Russian government placing much emphasis on the expansion of their aerospace manufacturing,” he notes, “the need for efficient CAM software for both sheet metal and composite cutting will only continue to grow. With their extensive experience, Delcam-Ural is ideally placed to meet this demand.”
