The Canadian-based high-tech and 3D scanning company Creaform Inc., which develops and manufactures the Handyscan 3D™ linep of laser scanners, has completed its 2008 business development plan in Asia with the official incorporation of its Japanese office, Creaform Japan, in Yokohama. The event took place just a few months after the incorporation of Creaform Shanghai, the company’s Chinese subsidiary, and further reflects Creaform’s pursuit of fast-paced growth.
Creaform first cracked the Asian market with its Handyscan 3D products in 2005. Now, thanks to the incorporation of the Shanghai and Yokohama offices, the company now occupies an excellent position for furthering its international growth and building on the opportunities offered by these economically emergent areas.
Earlier this year, Creaform inaugurated a service office in Montréal, Canada. This new facility enables Creaform to provide immediate scanning, metrology and inspection, computer-aided design, and reverse-engineering services to its clients in Québec’s leading metropolis.
In addition, seeking to improve the service offered to its European clientele, Creaform recently opened a calibration centre in France. Henceforward, the owners of Handyscan 3D laser scanners established in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa geographical area can have their scanners calibrated or serviced at this centre.
With its strategically positioned global offices, Creaform is committed to taking its operation to the next level and building on the strong reputation the company enjoys in the area of 3D technology and solutions.
