Mack Brooks Exhibitions, which organizes the international sheet metalworking exhibition EuroBLECH, will stage dedicated sheet metalworking exhibitions in the growth markets of Russia, Poland, and India next year. Unlike EuroBLECH which targets a global audience, BLECH Russia, BLECH Polska, and BLECH India are designed just for those national markets.
Mack Brooks will organize this BLECH series of events every other year.
BLECH Russia will take place March 10–13, 2009, in St. Petersburg. Co-located with the major Russian industrial trade show St. PT Fair, and an integrated event for the automotive industry Autoprom, the exhibition will bring together international suppliers of sheet metal machinery, tools, and systems with a high-profile Russian visitor base. BLECH Russia is organized by Restec-Brooks, a joint venture of Mack Brooks Exhibitions and the Russian exhibition organizer Restec.
Russia is a huge market for sheet metal machinery suppliers because its own machine tool production covers only around a third of the country’s demand. The country’s annual economic growth rate is 7%, and the demand for cars, white goods, and consumer electronics among Russia’s 142 million consumers is higher than ever.
Companies interested in exhibiting at BLECH Russia can get a comprehensive BLECH Russia market report free through the website www.blechrussiamold.wiki, which also contains information about the exhibition.
BLECH Polska is scheduled for October 27–29, 2009, in Kielce, Poland. The successful launch of this event last November in Warsaw featured 100 exhibitors and more than 1500 visitors, and included a conference. For 2009, the organizer has moved this fair to a new venue, the Kielce Exhibition Centre, that offers more hall space. Kielce is situated between Krakow and Warsaw, in a region where manufacturing and metal processing are concentrated.
The third in the series of BLECH events in 2009, BLECH India, will be held November 18–20 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre–NSE Complex in Mumbai. BLECH India is organized by Inter Ads-Brooks Exhibitions (India) Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture between Mack Brooks Exhibitions and Inter Ads Ltd., India.
Like the other two BLECH events, BLECH India covers all sectors of the sheet metal manufacturing process, including metal forming and bending solutions, stamping, pressing, automation, flexible manufacturing systems, metal supply, cutting, punching, joining/welding, tooling, laser technology, CAD/CAM, finishing/coating, quality assurance, and material handling.
Stephen Brooks, chairman of Mack Brooks Exhibitions, explains that the decision to organize BLECH events in growth markets was based on the demand for specialized sheet metalworking shows in countries where, until now, mainly general machinery exhibitions were held. “With our experience as the organizers of EuroBLECH and our strong partnerships in Russia and India, we can offer our exhibitors solid platforms for new business contacts in major future markets for this industry sector,” Brooks asserts.
