Klaus-Dieter Kapp has become the business division manager for automotive at mold-Masters Europa GmbH. In this role, he is responsible for the development and further improvement of Mold-Masters’ activities in the automotive industry. Mold-Masters is a global supplier of hot runner technology and temperature controllers.
Kapp’s objective in his new position will be to gain additional market share for Mold-Masters within the European automotive sector. Working with the existing sales force, he will intensify the company’s contact with original equipment manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers.
Kapp has a degree in plastics engineering. His first employment following graduation was in the rubber processing industry, and since 1993 he has worked in the hot runner industry.
Before joining Mold-Masters as division manager, Kapp served as general manager of the European branch of a North American hot runner supplier, for which he had held positions as sales engineer, application engineer, and sales manager for Europe.
