As part of its ongoing 20th-anniversary celebration, CGTech, the US-based specialist in NC/CNC simulation, verification, optimization, and analysis software technology for manufacturing, is holding a Vericut “super-user” contest. Contest winners will be those users of CGTech’s industry-standard software who have been most innovative in applying Vericut’s ability to detect errors, potential collisions, or areas of inefficiency in cnc machining.
Participants will be competing to win their choice of an iPod or 3Dconnexion 3D mouse. CGTech will also include a video of the winners’ Vericut simulation to load on their iPod.
“Over the past 20 years, our customers have shown amazing ingenuity in their use of Vericut,” says CGTech president Jon Prun. “This contest will give credit to those innovative NC programmers, while providing an opportunity to demonstrate the exceptional technical capabilities of their company.”
All entry submissions are to be made via the CGTech website. Entries must be received before June 21, 2008, to qualify for an award.
CGTech is headquartered in Irvine, California, and has offices worldwide. Its Vericut simulation, verification, and optimization software is used by companies of all sizes, universities, and government agencies.
