Paratus Industries, Buffalo, N.Y., a four-year-old builder of custom pullers, cutters, and other downstream machinery for PVC profiles, has introduced a random embosser for hollow fence and rail profiles. Announced at the recent K 2007 show in Dusseldorf, the embosser uses a complex mandrel to support cut profile sections to provide uniform embossing pressure on four sides. Cut sections can be embossed in-line or off-line. The random pattern embosser uses a 42-in.-long randomizing roller that can change patterns at the push of a button by moving to a different section of the roll.
