Laser Mechanisms Inc., Farmington Hills, Mich., has named Mark Taggart as managing director of North American operations and Glenn Golightly as managing director of Pacific Rim operations.
Taggart is responsible for day-to-day management of the company’s industrial and medical operations. He served previously as general manager of medical operations and as medical manufacturing manager. Taggart joined the company in 1989.
Golightly, who also joined the company in 1989, has been general manager of industrial operations and a sales engineer. He holds a degree from Wayne State University.
Laser Mechanisms manufactures laser beam delivery components and articulated arm systems for high-power CO2, YAG, fiber lasers, and other wavelengths.
