⑵ Taper hole at the end The tolerance of the inner taper hole at the end of the spindle (No. 6 Morse) to the support journal A, B is 0.005mm at the end of the shaft, and the tolerance at 300mm from the end of the shaft is 0.01 mm; the contact rate of the taper is ≥70 %; surface roughness Ra is 0.4mm; hardness requirement is 45~50HRC. The taper hole is used to install or tool taper shank, and its axis line must be strictly coaxial with the axis lines of the two supporting journals, otherwise it will cause the workpiece (or tool) to produce coaxiality errors.
